Pagination and limits
Pagination
Collection endpoints take page (from 1) and page_size (1 to 100, default 25) and return total and total_pages. Ordering is stable: sort=name by default, or recent and updated.
Access and rate limits
Company data endpoints require a key: there is no anonymous access. Free account: 100 requests per rolling 24 hours, and every field a signed-in visitor sees on the website, without financials, technology and signals. Premium account: 5,000 requests per rolling 24 hours and the complete record. Only /v1/health, /v1/countries, /v1/categories, /v1/coverage and agent tool discovery answer without a key. Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-Api-Tier.
Error codes

| invalid_query | 400 | A parameter failed validation. The message names the field. |
| invalid_key | 401 | The key is malformed or unknown. |
| revoked_key | 401 | The key was revoked in the owning account. |
| not_found | 404 | No record matches that country and slug. |
| rate_limited | 429 | The daily quota for this caller is exhausted. |
| upstream_error | 502 | A database read failed. Retry with backoff. |
Versioning
The current version is v1 and appears in the path and in X-Api-Version. Fields are added without notice; removals or breaking changes arrive under a new version path and are recorded in the changelog.
