Methodology & Sources

A consistent process turns official filings into searchable, comparable company records.

Source hierarchy

Primary sources include national ministries, commercial registries, licence registers, official gazettes, and other public authority records. Corporate websites and public disclosures may supplement those records but do not replace the primary registration source.

Record pipeline

  1. 01

    Detect

    Monitor new filings and changes.

  2. 02

    Match

    Resolve identifiers and duplicates.

  3. 03

    Verify

    Check core facts against sources.

  4. 04

    Enrich

    Add structured public context.

  5. 05

    Publish

Release and keep the record current.

Quality controls

Identifiers, legal names, statuses, classifications, and dates are normalized into a common model. Records marked Verified have been checked against a primary source. Conflicts are reviewed rather than silently merged.

Update cadence

Update frequency follows source availability. Sources that publish continuously are checked throughout the day; slower official publications are revisited on their own release schedules.

Corrections

If a field appears inaccurate, use our Contact & Corrections page and include the company name, country, registry reference, disputed field, and supporting source.
