The 99% standard
We aim to represent at least 99% of entities available through the official registers and public sources used for that country. The index is designed around national completeness, not listings submitted by businesses.
When a country goes live
Onboarding markets remain clearly marked until entity ingestion, identifier matching, classification, quality checks, and update monitoring meet the launch standard. Record counts are not presented as complete before then.
Branches and related registrations
Where authorities issue separate branch or location licences, those records are connected to the legal entity and retained with their own identifiers, locations, and statuses.
Practical exclusions
The small remaining gap may include sealed records, delayed publications, inaccessible filings, recently changed identifiers, and categories the authority does not publish electronically.
Ongoing monitoring
Live markets are monitored for incorporations, renewals, status changes, closures, and source corrections. Coverage is maintained after launch rather than treated as a one-time import.
