API keys
Create and revoke the credentials that authenticate your requests to the v1 API and the remote MCP endpoint.
How keys work
Public records are free and need no key. A key identifies your account, raises your rate limit to 5,000 requests per hour and releases Premium fields: direct contacts, leadership, branches, financial bands and commercial signals.
Keys are shown once at creation and stored only as a hash, so a copy you lose cannot be recovered. Send it as Authorization: Bearer vk_live_... from server-side code and never from a browser.
